<p>1.  Your mind matters: Clear it out and quicken your mind.</p>
<p>2.  Balance your emotions and moods: Resistance to life&#8217;s lessons is futile!</p>
<p>3.  Chronic aches and pains seem to vanish miraculously: There is no cure for healing, choose healthy habits and healing occurs on its own!</p>
<p>4.  Hereditary, disease causing genes do not get turned on: See Bruce Lipton-Epigenetics.</p>
<p>5.  Reduction of inflammation: = Quicker recovery &amp; health</p>
<p>6.  Improved immunity to &#8220;contagious diseases.&#8221;</p>
<p>7.  Improved longevity and reduction of the likelihood of medication (therapeutic and recreational drugs).</p>
<p>8.  Increased sense of self esteem, wellness and confidence.</p>
<p>9.  Improved elimination: Smelling better</p>
<p>10.  I&#8217;m more fun to be around when I feel good.</p>
<p>11.  Improved likelihood of success and abundance in career and relationships.</p>
<p>12.  Increased abililty to be present to others, self and the divine.</p>
<p>13.  Less reactive, more proactive, more intentional.</p>
<p>14.  Increases my openness to venture into new ideas, behaviors and endeavours instead of the same old same old.</p>
<p>15.  I become a mentor, role model, example and coach, silently inspiring others.</p>
<p>16.  Connects me with other strongly motivated, attentive, i, high valued individuals.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dr. Dean Ornish &amp; Colleagues found that comprehensive lifestyle changes altered gene expression in patients  with prostate cancer.  Over 500 genes changed genes changed their expression due to diet, meditation and other lifestyle habits.</p>
<p>Consider these statistics</p>
<p>-  In a study of 89,941 nurses with type II diabetes, over 16 years, authors found 91% could be attributed to habits.</p>
<p>-  Health care costs could be cut by $24 billion if Americans took just four supplements over the next five years!       Can anyone say Alka Green?</p>
<p>-  Hyman, Ornish and Roizen reported results of the EPIC study involving 23,00 subjects: 4 simple behaviors and habits; diet, exercise, body fat, not smoking affected health positively.  By adhering to lifestyle changes, 93% of diabetes, 81% heart attack, 50% strokes and 38% of all cancers were prevented.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>To put it in a nutshell, we all have inherited genetic strengths and weaknesses.  However all to often in the office I hear from clients &#8220;it&#8217;s in my genes&#8221;, my mother, father, sister, aunt had x,y,and z so the default through inadequate knowledge and faulty logic is that they are just powerless victims of their inherited genes.</p>
<p>False! As cellular biologist Dr. Bruce Lipton explains &#8221; It is now recognized that the environment (our choices) and more specifically our perception (interpretation of reality=subjectivity) of the environment directly controls the activity of our genes!  Environment controls the gene activity (and protein synthesis; the foundation of life) through a process know as epigenetic control.&#8221;</p>
<p>So to simplify; you and I are not a slave to our DNA, it&#8217;s our choices, more specifically how I perceive reality, that dictates how my body performs!  If reality is perceived as a threat my body will respond accordingly, just as if reality is perceived as a joy/dance with life my body will also respond accordingly.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In B.E.S.T. we monitor our 6 Essential Choices.  What we eat, drink, breathe and how we exercise, rest and think can be evaluated and monitored.  As a human being we recognize these choices as my own responsibility and no one else.   Not my spouse, parent, boss, peers or the government.  When I am self honoring in my 6 essentials I feel more energy, vitality, flexible and dynamic.  I naturally live in my passion.  I encourage and support others to self-honor and respect.  This creates an environment of win/win.</p>
<p>It is easy for me to live from my heart space and know how to respond in the present moment, from the present moment.  Not from an old inappropriate belief system that no longer works to honor myself and others.  Others feel this and 2 things happen.   People naturally want to be part of my community and environment or the energy of joy-love-passion is too much for their egos to handle and they move away.</p>
<p>B.E.S.T. allows me the opportunity to update old patterns of perception. old trauma&#8217;s and drama&#8217;s and to be grateful for the lesson of the moment.</p>
<p>To be present, not stuck in the regret of the past or the fear of the future is to be a fully Human Being.  Doing is always an outflow of being.  What I have therefore is an outcome of being.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>1.  Eat more vegetables and fruits, less meat and junk food</p>
<p>2.  Drink more water and less juice, soda, alcohol</p>
<p>3.  Go to sleep earlier, turn off the t.v. and read a good book or the good book</p>
<p>4.  Begin gently exercising aerobically, walking slowly at first &#8211; 10 min, then proceed to 30,40,50 min</p>
<p>5.  Shift to thinking instead of that stress is outside of me, to it&#8217;s all how I see life;  If I perceive life is doing it to me, then I&#8217;m always in a mind set of lack and victim, never at taking personal responsibility</p>
<p>6.  Shift my belief system to &#8211; if it&#8217;s to be it&#8217;s up to me: take charge of what you have charge of and let go of what you do not (everyone and everything outside of your skin!)</p>
<p>7.  Give thanks for every person, place, circumstance or event in your life, for the opportunity to grow and evolve in virtue (good habits) and to release/refrain from vice (unhealthy habits)</p>
