We know in B.E.S.T. that the subconscious brain has the power to run our physical body, shape our perception and literally interface with the Peri-neural Nervous System (connective tissue, fascia, lymph, bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons-Dr. James Oshman’s work). From the PNNS we discharge photons of light/thoughts into the universe which sets up an attractor field (Dr. David Hawkins “Power v. Force”, et all) that creates what we bring into our life.
Here’s some current research. British psychologists Richard Wiseman, author of “The Luck Factor”, has found that people who view themselves “lucky” when they think about the past, view the past in terms of success. Viewing events in the past as a success gives the brain something similar to look for going forward.
When we intentionally see the good in the moment and get the lesson, we re-pattern our brains (neuroplasticity & neurogenesis) to continue to see all of life’s opportunities before us as a blessing and something positive to be learned from.
It’s similar to dance. Both my parents were dance instructors. Their students would practice technique and routine all year. However, before the dance recital they would rehearse their routines to music, at the hall where they were to perform.
By this process of intentionality we attract, perceive and act upon what we put our attention on.
Wiseman says that in one survey 80% of the self described lucky people used intuition (trusting their gut/heart) in their careers. Perhaps with intentional training, going with our guts and learning the lesson we bring about the “luck” that we already believe we are!
