A recent study by “C. Langenberg’ in Plus Medicine 2012, reveals that the waist measurement is a better indicator than body mass index for incidence of percentage of males and females developing type II diabetes.
For men with an average waistline of 40 inches and above there was a 7% greater incidence of type II diabetes than the general population. Women with a waistline of 35 inches and above had a 4.4% greater incidence of type II diabetes.
What can you do about this?
1. Walking a minimum of 30 min, 4-5 times a week.
2. Veggie smoothies once a day as a meal substitute.
3. Practice abdominal breathing 2 times per day.
Your health is your choice.
